BNY Mellon’s Pershing X is a financial advisor technology provider. The president of Pershing X, Ainslie Simmonds, sought to streamline communication and project management between teams and management.
I customized the Trello platform to fit the unique internal structure of Pershing X’s product teams by implementing feedback from Ainslie and 4 product leaders. Customizations included automations which reduced the number of meetings and presentations created for management reporting. To ensure smooth adoption, I created Confluence guides and hosted webinars to onboard over 200 people to the new program management platform.

UCLA’s Biocritical Studies Lab analyzes the history and current practices of the legal and medical examiner system. The lab creates press releases and academic papers and partners with impacted individuals, social justice organizations, data scientists, legal scholars, and media.
I onboarded and managed a team of 12 students to analyze autopsies and Qualtrics data in a timely manner. I helped these students grow into better data analysts with accurate and precise data collection and analysis skills to maintain the quality of the lab’s research. Simultaneously, I managed communications with different social justice groups and impacted individuals to inform and drive the research outputs.
